Happy Birthday to Bill! 🎂❤🍭🍨

Anna and I celebrated Bill's birthday at the best restaurant in East Cobb (and one of Alton Brown's supposed haunts), Seed, in Merchants Walk. Great table, great service, amazing food! They even included a birthday greeting on our personalized menus! And...a surprise birthday slice of cake that was amazing - almost as good as a hunk of dark chocolate!

We missed having Braxton and Rachel with us, but they were with us in spirit, as always! Cards, texts, Facebook messages and phone calls are nice but never as good as having family close.

Afterward,  Bill and I topped off the evening with an amazing movie, The Case For Christ, which every Christian MUST see! I read the book, but the movie was just as powerful. 

This has been a really good year for Bill in so many ways, and we are so happy for him. He is a great father, husband and over-all cool guy. We think we'll keep him for a long, long while!

My 4th of July baby is 19 today! What a great day to have a birthday!

The festivities lasted all weekend, starting with a girls' day of manicures, Starbucks, and shopping. Saturday was date night with Cam, and then last night we had a great dinner at our neighborhood habachi grill, Fuji Hana, followed by gifts, cake, and a mean game of Pictionary. (Bill and I came VERY close to beating those whippersnappers!)

Today, was our favorite brunch at J Christopher in Marietta, and tonight, she is off to Athens with friends. Never a dull moment in the life of a 19-year-old college gal!

Happy birthday to our dear 22 year old, Anna! We had a great day eating pancakes with Alex, lounging by the pool, opening gifts and then gorging on Italian food at Buca diBeppos. Cake and ice cream followed with a round of Pictionary where the young whippersnappers beat us parents, hands down. A great day! We are blessed to have such an awesome daughter! 

Braxton's Birthday!

We just had a great time celebrating Braxton's 20th in Tallahassee at the delicious Buca diBeppos. Got to meet all of his first year abroad friends - great group of young people. VERY impressed! Happy birthday, Braxton! !  

Fourth of July Birthday!

Every 4th of July at the Friday house is a super big day because it is Rachel's birthday. Born in the UK on July 4th makes her big day extra special. This year she is 18 and moving on to the University of Kentucky. GO Big blue!
