Sisters Forever

Here's a picture of my beautiful sister, Ashlyn, who has come to stay in Atlanta. She's a fellow writer and lover of the finer things in life, like delicious, gourmet food, travel, film, and great literature. And she's an artist too, but hasn't gotten out the pastels and paints in years. Looking forward to fun times ahead!

More Creativity from God

I love seeing what creative things some of the sisters in our Bible study come up with. Here is a beautiful, fun scarf made by Christina Ronchetti of avintageflea.blogspot.com. Very simple, made of yard tied together in four places. Clever and lovely!

We were in the gift-giving mode since it was Angela's birthday. Per her request, here is my present to her - a tree drawn with oil pastels, based on the Scripture Psalms 1:3 And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper. She loved it and has it hanging in her family room. What a joy it is to allow God to work through your creative abilities and bless others!
